PayPerPost Review

***This is not a paid review***

Payperpost is the oldest and largest sponsored post marketplace network. Bloggers earn substantial money getting paid to write reviews on their blog. What seperates Payperpost from the rest, is you don’t have to bid or wait for an offer to come to you. You simply go into the directory find ones that are available to you based on your rank and other requirements. Once you reserve it, you have 6 hours to write and submit it. This is in contrast to ther networks, where you wait forever for opportunities to come to you or you wind up bidding on dozens before you get even one response back from an advertiser. I always recommend Payperpost over the others because you can make far more from this network because of the way the system is setup and because there is way more opportunities available.

Their affiliate program is very generous, either paying $15 dollar per active blogger referral or $7 per referral plus a written review (with a backlink) of your site. In order to get paid for a referral, the blogger must register a blog and get it approved. Then they must write one sponsored post and have it approved 30 days later. Don’t expect all of your referrals to actually convert to the pay column because not all of them go through the whole process. Overall, the signup rate is high and the payout rate is high enough per active blogger referral, this should earn bloggers good money as affiliate program. Payperpost requires a social security number for U.S citizens and all payments are done by paypal.

Employee Vacation Incentive Programs

Are you a boss and your workers are started to lose their edge or motivation in getting sales? I believe in positive reinforcement and while money is a great motivator, a vacation to your employees might spark new energy and work for them. It is also a great way to build a more loyal relationship between the employee and employer.

A company called Bellweather Rewards offers these vacation incentives for employees. They arrange the travel for employees of a company automatically, to a individual or a team of your best employees. These are really nice trips, including things like Celebrity Mediterranean cruise or Costa Rica Adventure toure.

Top 5 Picks for High Converting Affiliate Programs

We have for the last 3 months been bringing you the latest top affiliate programs, but I wanted to list my very top 5 picks of programs that have converted very well for me on my own network of websites. The programs I will list below do very well because of their reputation, low competition, and because they provide a very worthwhile product.

Realize, that just because they are my top picks doesn’t mean all of them will work well on just any website. If your website niche is targeted for one of the affiliate programs mentioned below, then you should earn a tremendous amount of money from it. These are not ranked in any particular order.

PayPerPost - This program is very popular and well known among the blogging community. There is very few competitors and expect many signups. At $15 dollars per signup, this should be a blogger’s most profitable affiliate program.

A1Supplements - I run a few bodybuilding and fitness sites. In general supplement stores do well for conversions, but I found this one to do exceptionally well. They pay 15% per sale on 60 day cookies and even pay you 5% for life on other webmasters who sign up under your referral link. I’ve had webmasters signup under me, which has helped make this program extremely profitable. It’s actually my most profitable affiliate program overall.

TNX - There is only 2 major players in the text link ad broker marketplace right now. Text-Link-Ads.com has been overpromoted making it harder for affiliate marketers to convert, but TNX.net is the newer one on the scene and it’s growing very quickly in popularity. They pay you 13% for life on the earnings of publishers you refer. This is one of my better paying affiliate programs and I believe in the long run as I accure more referrals, it will be the top paying one.

ABCTickets - If you have any music or sports sites, you’ll know how hard it is to convert to actual sales. I’ve found that ticket affiliates do best on these sites, and by far ABCtickets is the best. It pays out a whopping $30 dollars per sale on a cookie that doesn’t expire for a full year. My other affiliates don’t even come close on my sports sites to ABCtickets. I highly recommend this program

NaturalHealthHoodia - You might have heard about the very popular Hoodia supplement that controls appetite cravings to help people lose fat. They pay $15 per sale on a 90 day cookie and 5% for life on sub-affiliates you refer. I’ve always found based on my experience, that the supplement affiliate programs are usually the most profitable affiliate programs because they are something that people use on a monthly basis. This affiliate program is my 2nd most profitable affiliate program overall, right after A1supplements. If you have a health, fitness, or bodybuilding site I highly recommend these 2 programs.

How to Find the best affiliate programs for your site

Finding the best affiliate programs that fits the demographic of your website visitors, is key to getting maximum sales conversions. Unfortunately, most people do not spend a lot of research doing that. They see what some blogging “guru” is recommending and think that is what will make them lots of money.

The truth is, if you want the best affiliate program for YOUR site, you are going to have to do a lot of research and trial and error. It has to be a site you believe in and think visitors might actually buy from it. You have to think of what kind of visitors your website is attracting and target those kind of products to them. Make sure the affiliate program is something useful to your visitors. For example, if the prices are too high, then don’t expect it to convert well. If it’s not something you would buy from, don’t expect many others too either.

There is many other things to consider when picking a affiliate. Find out if the affiliate has a good reputation. Sites with good reputation tend to get better conversions because sales are often made days after the initial clickthrough and with cookies you still get credit. If you are joining an independant affiliate program you might be giving them your SSN or Tax Id, so you want to make sure the site is legitimate. Read the TOS closely so you know what sites and affiliate marketing methods are allowed. Some affiliates leave cookies for 30 or 60 days. The ones that leave cookies for a month or longer are the ones you should strive for because they really maximize your affiliate sales. The average affilite pays at least 10% on a 30 day cookie of sales transactions. I wouldn’t go less than that, unless you are having a difficult time finding alternative affiliates for your website.

To get started looking for affiliate programs, I recommend signing up to Shareasale. Shareasale has thousands of affiliate programs you can join there. They are my favorite affiliate network, as they do a good job of making sure affiliates are in compliance and have many great options for affiliate marketers such as; coupons, datafeeds, direct product urls, and 2nd tier affiliate programs for participating merchants.

Interior Fabrics

DesignDivafabrics.com has come up with a creative way to sell interior fabric at great prices. The concept is called “Vote up Count down”. When someone registers, they can vote up fabrics, anyones they like. The one with the most overall votes is displayed in this widget you see right here:

You can also add this live widget to your site by copying a piece of code from the site. As you can see every second, the price goes down! It will keep going down every second until someone buys the item. Once that is done, the item with the next highest votes is listed and the whole process is repeated.

SponsoredReviews.com Review

SponsoredReviews is a well known sponsored post marketplace. Bloggers bid on opportunities for writing sponsored posts on a advertiser’s product or website. The only problem about the bidding system is it becomes pretty competitive and you wind up having to bid on a lot of opportunities and only getting a few responses back. If an advertiser doesn’t like your bid, they can even counter offer for a lower price. If you are having trouble finding relevant or enough opportunities from other networks, you might want to try SponsoredReviews to get some more paid blogging opportunities.

SponsoredReviews has their own affiliate program that pays $5-$50 dollars, if a blogger you referr earns at least 50 dollars. The more they earn the more you earn after the initial 5 dollars. They also pay up to $175 for referring active advertisers into the program. Affiliate Conversions are high due to the popularity of the program, few competitors and because bloggers find sponsored posts very profitable for them. Payments are by Paypal and require your social security if you are a U.S citizen.

Student Travel

When I was in high school I always wanted to do student tours. I could never afford it at the time, but when I have kids I’ll definitely send them to one because you learn so much traveling to other places in the world. HemisphereTravel.com offer tours in both the U.S and worldwide. Every tour is a structured, chaperoned and supervised tour. They even have private security guards to monitor hotel hallways overnight!

Why should you pick Hemispheretravel.com for your student travel tours? Because they offer a guarantee that they will meet or beat any tour price that has the same tour quality and components.

LinkConnector.com Review

LinkConnector is a small affiliate network, but there are some useful affiliates for certain niches. Linkconnector has one nice feature that other affiliate networks have, called naked link technology. Instead of a encrypted or funny looking affiliate link, it looks just like a normal url thereby increasing click rates. Unfortunately, not all merchants use teh naked link technology. You can’t modify their html code for affiliate cloaking because then it won’t track clicks properly. You can use the same affiliate link on multiple websites.

Linkconnector has datafeeds, but they don’t have 2nd tier affiliate programs, coupons, or the ability to deep link custom affiliate links. They also don’t give EPC earning rate history or any kind of compliance tracking or auto-deposit information to affiliates. This makes it tough to know the reliablity of affiliate merchant in the network.

Payments are done by check when you reach a $25 dollar balance. You have to be paid $600 previously in payments before eligible for paypal payments. If you are using whois privacy protection, LinkConnector will require you verifying ownership of the site for getting into the network. This can be done by creating a special hidden page.
